House Warming Party! Open to everyone!
Lucy surveyed the house, assuring herself that everything was ready for the party. The back french doors were open to the beach outside. There was a keg on the porch along with cups. The tiki bar she'd bought was set up on the porch also. She had on the new Betsey Johnson dress she'd bought just for the occasion but her feet were bare. She didn't see the point in putting on heels if she was going to be out in the sand.
She turned her ipod on, tuning it to the party playlist she'd made and wandered behind the bar to make herself a drink in a pink disposable martini glass.
"Jill! Everyone will be here soon!" she yelled at her room mate and best friend.

They weaved though the remaining party goers hand in hand and headed outside to where the bar was set up. "So, how many drinks do I have to have before I catch up to you?" He'd never seen Jill tipsy before and like a good boyfriend ... he couldnt help but be a bit concerned.

"Course I won't, I'm about twice the size of you."
Harry moved right passed the lovely bar with its vast array of spirits and headed right to the keg. He released himself from her grasp to pour a beer.
"Why a party on Wednesday babe ... Do you have a class in the morning?"
He took a long draw from his freshly poured beer and waited for her response.

"My overachiever is being a bad girl? Should I be worried about you ..." He took another long slow sip of his beer and his smile had broadened. "or is this the kind of bad girl that every boy wishes for?"

She hugged him. "God I still can't believe you're here!"

Harry hugged her back tightly. His right arm clung to her back and kept her body close close to him. Gloved fingers of his left hand brushed silken brown strands away from her face.
"Are you really that surprised?" He murmured softly. "Wasn't there a part of you that thought maybe I might find a way to be with you tonight?"
