House Warming Party! Open to everyone!

Lucy surveyed the house, assuring herself that everything was ready for the party. The back french doors were open to the beach outside. There was a keg on the porch along with cups. The tiki bar she'd bought was set up on the porch also. She had on the new Betsey Johnson dress she'd bought just for the occasion but her feet were bare. She didn't see the point in putting on heels if she was going to be out in the sand.

She turned her ipod on, tuning it to the party playlist she'd made and wandered behind the bar to make herself a drink in a pink disposable martini glass.

"Jill! Everyone will be here soon!" she yelled at her room mate and best friend.

Jondy arrived at the beach house and immediately felt out of place. It was a horrible self-conscious quirk. Brushing her long hair back from her face she adjusted the dress (http://img260.imageshack.us/img260/1189/7172myz6.jpg) she was wearing (yes, a dress, she couldn't believe it either and she was the one wearing it) and gave Alec a nervous smile. She knew she had nothing to be nervous about, Lucy was the nicest person on the planet, but she couldn't help it. She climbed out of the car, brushed her hair back again and bit her lip, circling the car to stand next to her brother.

"So, Golden Boy, let's go in before I try to run away, okay?" She shot him a brilliant smile, a fake one that looked real, and grabbed his hand and started walking towards the music.

Alec curles his hand around her's an walks beside her. He was dressed in his normal clothes of heavy black boots, loose tan cargo pants and a tight black t-shirt. He didn't know what the dress code was for men at these sorts of parties, so he decided not to worry about it. "Why so nervous? You look great and you said she was nice, so no worries."

"Force of habit, shush." She poked her tongue out super fast, not giving him a chance to grab it and dragged him back to the patio thing. "I do look totally hot though, you've got a point there." She grinned and planted a quick kiss on his cheek. "You're the best brother ever, thanks for coming."

When they got to the patio, she spied the tiki thingy and giggled. "Lucy?"

Lucy turned toward the voice, a huge smile spreading across her face when she saw the source of it. "Jondy!" she squealed and threw herself at the woman, embracing her in an excited hug. "O.M.G!! I'm so glad you came!" she said after a few moments when she'd untangled herself. She looked at the guy with Jondy, totally hot by the way and smiled more flirtously at him.

"You much be Alec. I'm so glad you guys decided to come."

He blinked at the tiki thing right along with his sister, and the stepped out of the way as a woman launched herself at Jondy. He watched their enthusiastic greeting with amusment. He offered the hostess one of his more charming smiles after she and Jondy had untangled themselves. "I am. The one and only. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lucy." Flirt much?

Jondy hugged Lucy back with much of the same enthusiam and suddenly remembered why she wanted to come in the first place. Lucy.

She watched Alec turn on the charm and bit back a grin, but couldn't help rolling her eyes at him. She figured Lucy wouldn't mind much though. Not many girls would.

"Lucy this place with... awesomesauce." She smiled brilliantly and tried very hard not to giggle. And failed.

Lucy laughed. She didn't even try to conceal it. "Awesome sauce," she confirmed with a nod.

Then she turned back to Alec and if her Southern Belle accent was a little thicker, who could blame her because...flirt much? "Oh Sugar, you're so sweet to say so," she said, blushing just enough and looking down while she put her hand on Alec's forearm. Flirting was like a sport to Lucy.

She looked back up to Jondy and then over to Alec. "Can I get ya'll both something to drink? I've got pretty much whatever you can want."

"Hey, who are the new people?" Jill asked, moving to stand next to Lucy. "Hi, I'm Jill." She smiled.

"Jill, this is Jondy..who is awesome sauce and the honey with her is her brother, Alec. I've talked to Jondy on lj some and Alec I've just met," Lucy introduced. "Jill's my room mate and best friend. Co hostess with the mostest."

He grins at being called 'the honey' because, lets face it, modesty was not something that came built in. "Hey," He offers that charming smile to Jill. "Nice to meet you. I'm glad Jondy brought me along." He could deffinatly enjoy this.

Jondy waved a little from next to Alec. She was content to let him take the lead. "Hi, nice to meet you. I like your dress." She smiled at Jill and then added quickly, "yours too, Lucy! Uh, thanks again for inviting me, us. We seriously need to get out more." This really was her first party with people her own age, bring on the awkward.

"We all look pretty cute. I'd say that Alec is the luckiest guy in the room at this particular moment with the three of us standing here." Jill grinned at Jondy. "Do you guys want something to drink?"
