★ [Action || Video] Tell Me Something That'll Save Me
[Lucy is sitting on a bench by the fountain. She's got a cup of coffee and a fashion magazine with her. She's idly flipping through it, dog earring certain pages and then moving on. She appears to be waiting for something.]
So I know it's a long shot 'cause really who wants to leave Birmingham or come back to this place. Doesn't stop a girl from hoping.
And now I just sound patheta-sad.
[ooc: Fourth wall is a go. She'll welcome visits from anyone]

[Lucy doesn't mind either and really they're close enough to the apartment that it doesn't matter. Lucy fishes her keys out of her designer bag and unlocks the door.]
It's two bedrooms so we can set one up for you. [She'll just pretend that Jilly gets to stay. At least for now.]

[A bed that's her own is new to her in their apartment back in Alabama. And yes, she fully intends to stay, even if the City makes her disappear in a few days.]
So what is there to do here -- besides flirt with boys?
no subject
Bryant, get back.
[She opens the door to a giant black and white Newfoundland. There's a cat sitting on the back of a white couch. The entire apartment is done in black, red and white.]
Come on in. Nightclubs, a racetrack, shopping, the beach and the curses are...sometimes okay and sometimes incredibly sucktastic.
no subject
Curses? That doesn't sound any kind of okay. This is a nice place.

The place didn't always look homey. It used to be more HGTV but over time, Lucy brought things in and settled in. Although Harry did toss the pink blanket she bought. It just didn't go with the decor.]
Sometimes they can be fun? The City was like Venice on Valentines this year. We rowed everywhere in boats. I tasted like ice cream one weekend. I stood on the street corner and let everyone come lick me. All the boys smelled extra awesome one day. That's when Harry and I first bow chicka bow wowed in the library. 'Cause he smelled so good.
Thank you! I can't really take credit. It's Harry's and now mine.

Is he the only one you've bow-chicka-bow-wow'd with?
no subject
Nope. There have been a few. He was the only one for a few months though. [Which is a bit telling in and of itself. Lucy actually fell in love with the Master. Not that she'd told him but the whole faithful thing kind of did.]

A few months is special.

He left. He was good to me though and he--I got in trouble in the Underground. He let me stay here and I just...stayed. He was fun and he cared.
[She bites her bottom lip and looks up at Jill] I think I loved him, Jillybean.
no subject
Did he love you too?
no subject
I think so. he was way indulgent.
no subject
I wish he were here then. And I wish you more indulgent guys who treat you well.
no subject
I wish he were here too. I sorta think maybe he was evil. Not to me. He was awesomesauce to me, but to other people...possibly evil.
no subject
[Jill had seen evil her whole life. She had loved evil, even. It was conflicting. And she could understand loving despite of things.]
Hey, we should totally veg on the couch with chocolate and watch the boys last season on DVD. You said you had it, right?

[Of course Jill was scared of a lot of things until Lucy made her confront them.]

So tell me what we've been doing at home. Is it all awesome?

[Jill isn't shallow. That was for you Lucy, to make you smile.]

You have to think of the children. You wouldn't want them stuck with a nose like that.
