[She takes a few seconds to calm down but there's a deep breath and a smile that stretches from ear to ear.]

This I was going to miss most from home.

[Sam laughed until he was tackled, although he was glad that she liked the gift so much.]

That kind of makes the chocolates and the chart detailing all your cuteness kind of pale in comparison I guess, but I'm glad you like it.

Psssh you underestimate how much I like chocolate and being told I'm cute.

[That makes it okay then.]

Well, now you've got some chocolate and a chart to help out.

[And for that he gets a kiss on the cheek.]

[Sam blushed a bit at the kiss.]

Sure, that’d be cool.

[It's a good thing she didn't kiss him on the lips just for effect.

She beckoned him further inside, shutting the door behind him. Bryant came up, tail wagging in anticipation of meeting Sam.]

Go ahead and have a seat on the couch and that's Bryant.

[Probably best, Sam might have interpreted that wrong.

Sam came in and held his hand out for Bryant to smell.]

Hey there, big guy. I probably should have brought something for you too.

[Lucy's open to various interpretations.

Bryant licks Sam's hand then lumbers off to go lay down on the kitchen floor. Obviously that's his seal of approval]

He's pretty easy going and very spoiled so he's good. Can I get you some iced tea or a mint julep or something else?

[Sam settled down on the couch and smiled.]

You are southern to the core. Iced tea, I guess.

[She grins and disappears into the kitchen, coming back a moment later with two glasses of iced sweet tea. She hands one to him and sits down next to him.]

So how did you get the dvd? Or is it a carefully guarded secret?

[Sam sipped the sweet tea. While it was no soda, it was still pretty good.]

Well, people are taken from all over different times here. So if you know what you want and don't mind looking around the Underground or something, you can find it.

[She would gasp blasphemy at you, Sam]

Filed away for future reference. I've heard the Underground is B Horror movie scary though.

Yeah, it can be pretty freaky depending on where you go, but not all the places are super dangerous.

I'll have to make a list of the not super dangerous places.

Hey, I could totally make you a map of the safe places where you can get cool stuff.

[Sam paused for a minute.]

But you seriously have to promise that if I mark places as something like, "Extreme Danger, Do Not Enter" you won't get curious and go check them out.
