[Lucy is pacing through the store, adjusting last minute vases of roses, straightening bottles of perfume, tubes of lotion and bubble bath as she goes. She's got a few candles lit and scattered around the store. There's a table with coffee, sweet tea and lemonade along with various pastries and cookies near the register. Everything is as ready for opening day as Lucy can possibly make it. She takes a deep breath, runs her hands down the skirt of her red dress and unlocks the front door.]

... a new store? I must have been distracted. Where exactly are you located?

Today is opening day. We're just North of the fountain. There's a pinkish red awning outside. You can't miss it.

And do you offer gift baskets? Or rather, is there someone there that can help a prospective customer custom design one?

I'm looking for something 'unique'.

I can put together a gift basket for you. If you've got a theme we'll work on that or if you just like a particular scent.

A theme? Well, perhaps. But I'm interested in providing her with more of a variety of options. Yet... I'd still like everything to work well together... or at least not to be viewed as haphazard in my having chosen to include it.

We can do options. I've got musky, comforting smells and fruity energizing smells and floral romantic smells not to mention the sexy ones. And all of those are in lotion, perfume and bubble bath.

Perhaps I'll keep the 'sexy' ones to present to her at a later time ~~once he's gone again~~. But I look forward to seeing in person what you've suggested.

What time do you close?

Six. I want to have everything clean and be out of here by dark. [She's still a bit paranoid about being out after dark alone.]

Quite possible, and work has kept me quite busy. I don't get out as much as I'd like.

I'm a Doctor at the hospital. That, and I oversee one of the City's research facilities.

Oh, next time I'm hurt, I'm so namedropping to get out of the emergency room more quickly.

I don't think giving my name will aid you in that matter. But if you wish, you can ask for me.

Okay. Are you involved in the research that's trying to figure out a way to escape?

That is one of the projects being researched, yes. But it hasn't been anything that I've taken an active role in studying. My strengths lie in other areas.

You might have known Harry then. He did research stuff but I don't know who he worked for.

Oh. Well then the gift basket is on me. Inadvertently, you helped pay for this place. Harry left me his money when he left the City and I set up this place with it.
