Harry is back and I'm really glad. The flat is too big and the City is too scary when he's not here. When he's here though it's harder to be the Queen of Denial about the whole 'Harry was a demon and evil during the hell curse. I mean...it doesn't mean anything, right? Evil and good...the City probably just drew lottery tickets. You got to be evil. You get to be good and you...you're just crispy critter in a river of boiling blood.

Except...I know I deserved to be where I was and if I deserved to be where I was then maybe Harry did too.

Really, there ought to be an advice column in the City. Dear Abby: I think my boyfriend might be evil. What's a girl to do?

I've never been a huge fan of snow. It doesn't snow in Birmingham very often and even then it melts right off. At least I've got an excuse to buy cute new boots and a hat. Possibly one with ear flaps.

Can you ski on the mountain? I've always sort of wanted to tromp around in a ski chalet in boots and those super tight, smexy ski pants.

Never lived anywhere with enough snow to build a snowman. Are we snowman building?

I just don't like cold and wet. It ruins your clothes, your hair, your shoes.

The Master's winter-wear, unsurprisingly, consists of mostly black. But no leather, for once. He's not ruining that in the snow. The only thing offsetting his swish winter look is the massive fluffy ginger cat that is still somehow managing to balance on his shoulders.

You're coming here. Just follow the GPS I sent to your device. Wear warm stuff.

[When she arrives, Lucy will find Hardison on the inside of an in-progress snow fort, various tupperware bowls and jugs of water around him.]

Lucy is wearing a hot pink, puffy coat, black uggs and skinny jeans. She's also got on fuzzy gray mittens. She giggles at Masha on the Master's shoulders.

"Does Masha figure into the snowman making experience?"

[She arrives in a pink puffy coat, black boots and fuzzy mittens. She ducks inside and gives him a giant grin.]

Hardison! This is amazing.

The Master turns his head to look at Masha, who makes her weird cat chirrup-y noise.
"She's a Siberian. It's good for her to be out in the winter. Besides, I brought her last year." He grins at Lucy. "Come on!" And then he heads out.

"She doesn't seem to mind." And Lucy trudges after, catching up to hold the Master's hand as they walk.

"She's composed mainly of fur." The Master leads Lucy along, looking for a good space to start rolling up snow because he checked, and it's rollable, naturally. When the atmosphere is a created one it would NATURALLY provide perfect packing snow.

Eventually, he finds a space mostly unmarked by footprints and stops. Masha jumps down from his shoulders. "Here. Will we stick with tradition or be politically correct and build a snowwoman?"

Lucy contemplates that, her lips pursed before she finally says. "Tradition is good. There's not enough of it in the City because they screw everything up here."

"Tradition, then," says the Master, kissing Lucy's cheek and scooping up a handful of snow. He packs it into a ball and then crouches to start rolling it. "Start on another ball," he says. "It's as easy as this, come on."

Lucy watches for a minute, a grin on her face before she crouches down and starts to roll up a snowball alongside the Master.

"Do you do this every year? The snowman making thing?"

"Mm," says the Master. "Possibly. I only remember last year. If I did it the year before, I've forgotten along with everything else. As for when I'm not here, I so rarely live in such a...linear fashion." He stands up to start nudging the snowball along with his feet. "It might as well start being an annual tradition."
