[Lucy is sitting on the couch wearing a houndstooth fedora and wearing a pink Alabama tee shirt. She's got a plate of bbq ribs on the coffee table, a six pack of beer and popcorn. There is a crimson A painted on her right cheek]

So today is the first 2011 Bama football game. I don't know who we're playing because the schedule wasn't out yet when I left home. If I were there I would have had ribs from Dreamland for lunch then went out to the stadium, tail gated until game time and then spent the evening with 90,000 people that all want the same thing.

I can't do that here. Duh but Sam managed to get me the 2011 season on DVD before he went home so today I'm making ribs, tail gating at the apartment and watching the game in a little while. If anyone wants to come watch with, I'll be here but remember there's only one team.

The Master has corn nuts and he wishes he didn't. He needs to stop trying to find out what various human foods are. He walks up behind the couch, ties the bag closed, and tosses it onto the table.

"Are you watching the entire season today or each game when it's actually played?"

There are some human foods that he should never partake of. She will bring home pork rinds at some point for him though.

"When it's actually played. I like the anticipation all week."

She looks up at him, the view upside down for her. "Didn't like the corn nuts?"

The Master nods, and climbs over the back of the couch to sit beside her. "They were...unfortunate. I'm not sure I'm a pub snack sort of person."

She snuggles up next to him once he's seated then reaches out to get one of the ribs off the plate. "Stick with chocolate for snack food. Want some ribs?"

"Okay. I'll get you a plate." She turns her face up, kisses his jaw and pushes herself off the couch. "I'll turn you into a Bama fan yet," she says as she heads into the kitchen.

A few seconds after she disappears from sight he'll hear the crash of a plate but no expletives with a Southern accent being yelled.

Frowning, the Master turns to look. "Lucy?" No response.

He waits a moment, and then essentially vaults over the couch to run over to the kitchen. Broken plate and no Lucy. He goes on a bit of a sniffing, searching run around. Has she been kidnapped? She's not in the hallway of the building if she has been and the kidnapper couldn't have gone that far unless they're supernatural.

Going back into his flat, he yells, "Off!" at Bryant who was going to take the opportunity to scarf the ribs off the table and the dog freezes almost comically with his mouth away from the plate. He glares at the dog for a while before shaking his head irritably and saying, "Don't choke," before he goes off for a Hall of Portraits run.
