How's my driving?

What do you like about Lucy?

What drives you crazy?

What do you wish I'd do differently?

You might add something about "and if you criticise me, my friends can and will tell you that you should not have done so". This is your right and theirs. But many people would rather not use the post for its intended purpose if any attempt to criticise aspects of the character means being told by players uninvolved they are "attacking" and "dogpiling" (as per Jo-mun) or that they should create sock emails to avoid being told off by uninvolved players (as per Alec-mun).

I cannot speak for the other anons, but if the criterion for having a valid stance in this discussion is simply playing with Lucy then I too have a place here. And I find your assertion that myself and the other anons "have problems with the idea someone else may see or hear [our] issues" troubling when it was clearly stated that the twin issues of not wanting to reveal personal experiences without the protection of anonymity and being told by your friends criticism is invalid or unwanted are the real issue here.

As a victim of both rape and domestic violence (the same person multiple times), I think this is complete crap. Lucy is your character and you're well within your rights to play her as you see fit. If people are so 'triggered' by such an offhand comment, then they need to seek in depth counseling. Yes, dv and such are very serious issues, but this whole trigger business going on lately is really just a bunch of whiners that just can't move on.

I'm beyond arachnophobic (diagnosed), but does anyone see me asking for a 'trigger' warning every time that damn spider thing posts? I don't think so. If you don't like it, just move on.
