[Lucy has been hard at work for the last several hours turning Xanadu into a frat party paradise. Alright, so Jace has been busy turning the garden into frat party paradise while Lucy supervised. That's how things work. Boys do the heavy lifting. All of ~~his~~ her hardwork has paid off. There are tiki torches ringing the area, bug candles scattered about, a keg, a cooler, funnels for beer and a table full of liquor bottles with varying amounts of liquor in them. Music suitable for dancing is pounding out at a workable volume. There's a pile of red plastic cups next to the table and the keg but the main event of the party takes place center garden. There are three long tables with red plastic cups of beer on them. Ping balls set waiting innocently for the beer pong games to begin.]

Things are definitely too truth and darish around here today. Beer pong is more fun. Add in keg stands, games of I never and spin the bottle, it's a good party.

Everyone's invited and we'll explain the rules to things if you like.

We should probably make a few exemptions to the 'everyone's invited' thing.

[Derek is there, if just because he can enjoy a good time. And also, he hasn't played beer pong since his college days and he's itching to reteach himself. Beer pong is kind of a sport, right? Right.]

Like if you want to kill the party goers, stay home?

[Lucy catches sight of Derek from across the garden and wanders over to him, beer cup in hand.]

Hey Stranger. How are you?

Kill or stalk or maim or cause harm to anyone... you know, all that kind of stuff.

Hey sweet girl. [Derek wraps an arm around Lucy in a one-armed hug.] Doing alright, how about yourself?

[Lucy is making the rounds, doing the hostess thing when she catches sight of Menolly. It makes her smile and she rushes over for a hug.]

I am so glad you came.

[He's definitely getting hugged back.] I'm great. The party is going well and my friends are here.

I was just out for a walk and had to come see what was going on.

[Stephen wanders over, beer cup in hand.]

Dude, how long did this take to set up?

It's a beer pong party inspired by the truth or dare curse.

[So far past hellos but not past hugs, which Lucy moves in to give him one, her own beer cup in hand]

Hmmm it took Jace a few hours. I supervised.

Oh! You have to play. [She leads her over to one of the empty tables.]

I do? I don't even know how to do this!

[There's really no way she can stop Lucy from dragging her over to a table.]

It's easy. Take that ping pong ball there and you try and throw it in one of the cups on my side of the table. If you get one in, I have to drink it. Then it's my turn and if I get one in, you drink.

That sounds... deceptively easy.

It's totally easy.

[He does the usual arm-sling-around-the-shoulder with her as he surveys the lay of the land.]

I don't think I've been to a party like this since University.

[And she threads her arm around Stephen's waist.]

I'm a mean, mean person.

That's the point. I wanted a frat party.

Frats are kind of an American thing. Canadian universities still totally have douchebags, though.

So I'm throwing a douchebag party? [She sounds amused about this.]
