[Lucy is standing outside the cathedral waiting for Curt to arrive. She's got her makeshift laser screwdriver out and is thoroughly prepared to shoot anyone who comes close that she doesn't know or isn't Curt. She's wearing this.]

[Curt is more casual than Lucy, but still in tight leather pants, because when isn't he. He wanders up and runs an appreciative eye over her. He's not sure what she's planning to do with the whatever it is that she has, but does make sure to catch her attention before he gets too close.]

[Being recently murdered makes her defensive but when she sees Curt, she puts the screwdriver away in her purse. She smiles at him, leaning in to put her hand on his shoulder and kiss his cheek.]

Not me, certain friends of mine. My parents weren't particularly into religion, at least not the organized kind--they're not really people people. I can remember going to church only a handful of times. Easter and stuff.

Yeah, I think that's the important thing. But hey, even if we manage to end up somewhere where the wait staff doesn't speak English there's always staring at other people's food and pointing. That's usually pretty effective.

[Curt would accept that as a very welcome and courteous thank you...though there are some other forms of thanks he would also be happy to accept.]
